Inventory Services

Prior to the check out it is important to note the following:

Items must be returned to their respective rooms on termination of the tenancy. Failure to do so can result in the moved items being listed as not seen which could result in deductions being made from your security deposit.

The property should be cleaned and left in the same condition as when the tenancy started. If the property was professionally cleaned at the start of the tenancy we strongly advise a professional clean is arranged for the termination of the tenancy.

Special attention is to be taken when cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms as areas usually missed are as follows:

Scale to shower heads and taps, Toilet rims, Shower screens and seals, Extractor fan filters, Washing machine drawer and seal, Dishwasher door, Doors and Frames.

If no attempt has been made by the tenants to tidy the property or remove all personal belongings / rubbish then the inventory clerk will conduct a check out as best as possible and will inform the estate agent the property needs to be cleaned and tidied and a second check out should take place at the cost of the tenant. The reason being the floors and work surface cannot be properly inspected if they are covered in clothes / rubbish.

All keys will need to be returned at the end of the check out so please ensure you have all the keys ready to hand over to the inventory clerk.

Meter readings will be taken if they are readily accessible.
